Support
Have a question about one of our games? We can help! This page is split into a general help and a dedicated help section for each game. Please read the first section, then the one for your TinyCo game of choice. If you can't find the answer there, please contact TinyCo Support using the form at the bottom of this page.
General Help
Yes! All of our games are "Free to Play", which means they're completely free to download and play with a wide variety of fun content. Each app also has "Premium Currency," such as Zoo Bucks or Crystals, which you can buy using in-app purchases for real money. Premium Currency can be used on limited edition items, speeding up the game, and other extras. For more information on how in-app purchases work, visit the "In-App Purchase and Billing Help" section below.
Tiny Social is a great way to interact with your friends in all of TinyCo's games! To add friends to your Social profile, go to the tab that says "invite." Here you can either type in your friend's TinyID or connect to Facebook to see who else is sharing TinyCo games.
I just got a new device and my game is missing. How do I get it back?
On Tiny Zoo:
There is a new feature of Tiny Zoo that will allow you to transfer your game by yourself, instantly. This requires you to have your OLD device still with you, as well as a NEW device with a camera included. If you have both devices, you can complete the transfer on your end within the next five minutes.
To start transferring, make sure your Tiny Zoo is updated to at least version 1.8.2. Open your game, tap MENU, followed by TRANSFER YOUR ZOO. For more information about the in-game transfer feature, visit http://bit.ly/tinyzootransfer.
For all other TinyCo Games:
We can help! For all TinyCo games besides Tiny Zoo, you will need to contact TinyCo Support (using the form at the bottom of this page) to transfer the game. When contacting us, please include as much of the following information as possible:
- The UDID from your old device, if you have it handy.
- The TinyID from your old device, if you made one.
- The UDID from your new device.
- Which game(s) you need transferred.
Once we have this information, we can help transfer your game to your new device.
In order to assist you better, we need to know your device's Unique Device Identification. To find your device's UDID:
- Connect it to your computer and wait for iTunes to launch.
- Select your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch from the devices list in iTunes and click the "Summary" tab. Here you'll see information about your device, such as name, capacity, software version, serial number, and phone number.
- To see your UDID, click on the word "serial number" beside the picture of the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. You should see the word "Identifer (UDID)" and an alphanumeric string - this is your UDID.
- Copy your UDID number by pressing Ctrl C or Cmd C (if on a Mac) since you will not be able to simply select the UDID and copy it. Please note that it will not appear as though you have copied the UDID, but if you did press Ctrl C or Cmd C, that does copy it.
- You should now be able to copy your UDID to your email, notepad or document.
How do I turn game notifications on or off?
To turn Notifications on or off, head to Settings > Notifications > [ NAME OF GAME ] on your device. You can change the settings of what notifications you want to receive by sliding them to the "on" or "off" position.
I'm experiencing a bug. What do I do?
On iOS:
First of all, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Don't worry, reinstalling will not erase your game on iOS, as the information is stored on our servers and associated to your device. Everything will be right as you left it! Reinstalling a fresh game often resolves many issues outright, which is why we recommend this as the first step for iOS users.
If the problems persists, please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page. Please include as much detailed information as you can. Helpful information includes:
- A detailed description of where and when the problem occurs
- Whether any error messages appear, and when
- Your TinyID, if your game has one
We'll take a look and work to resolve it for you.
On Android:
If you're experiencing a bug on Android, please contact us directly rather than trying to uninstall and reinstall. We do not recommend reinstalling as a fix for Android users, as this can sometimes result in losing your game data. Instead, if you're experiencing a bug, please let us know using the form below. Please also include as much information as possible, as detailed in the above iOS help.
In-app Purchase and Billing Help
When you tap an item available for in-app purchase, such as buying a "Bucket of Zoo Bucks," a popup will appear displaying how much the item costs and ask for your confirmation. When you confirm, you'll then be asked to put in your iTunes Account password. Confirming your password buys the item instantly. You're good to go!
Important note: once you put in your password, your device will not ask for your password again for fifteen minutes. This means others handling your device may be able to download apps or make purchases during that 15-minute window. This is also true when you first download an app.
When I try to make a purchase, iTunes tells me my account is invalid.
You may have downloaded the game under a different iTunes account tied to your device. If you try a purchase and get an error message, please try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it from the App Store. Since our games are all free to download, this is the easiest way to make sure it's working properly with your iTunes account.
I bought some in-game currency and I still haven't received it.
We're very grateful that you chose to make a purchase, and will make absolutely sure that you receive what you bought. If you just recently bought in-game bucks, coins, chips, or other currency, please first try restarting your device, then running the app again and leaving it open for a minute. Sometimes it can take a little while for the system to credit you.
If it has been some time since you made the purchase and you still haven't received your currency, please contact us using the form below. We'll track it down for you!
How do I get a refund for an in-app purchase on iOS?
In order to get a refund, you'll need to contact Apple Customer Support, because the transaction was completed through the iTunes Store. Apple doesn't give 3rd parties (such as TinyCo) access to your billing or credit card information, so we're unable to provide you a refund directly. Please contact Apple Customer Support with the details of the in-app purchase, and they will be able to help you out.
I share my device with friends/family. How can I prevent unauthorized in-app purchases on iOS?
iOS allows you to set a PIN number, which can help you prevent accidental purchases by others playing the game on your phone. To set a pin number, go to "Settings" > "General" > "Restrictions" on your iOS device. From there, you can enter a pin number that prevents any unauthorized real-money purchases inside iOS applications.
How do I disable all in-app purchases?
To turn off in-app purchases, go to "Settings" > "General" > "Restrictions" on you iOS device. From there, scroll down to "In-App Purchases" and slide it to the "Off" position. This blocks all potential purchases from within the game.

What is the "Lab" and how do I crossbreed?
Once you reach Level 10 in Tiny Zoo, you unlock the ability to Cross Breed your animals! This fun and exciting feature of the game allows you to take one animal and breed it with another to create a whole new species. To do this, go to the "Lab" and purchase a "Nest." Note that this is different than your "breeding nests" - the Lab doesn't work with normal breeding nests, but rather uses new ones. Give it a try!
You can earn free Zoo Bucks by leveling up in the game, and also by completing "Goals" that appear in the upper left of your screen. We also hold contests on our Tiny Zoo Fan Page where you can win Bucks as prizes!
I gave my email for 5 free Zoo Bucks but haven't received them. Why?
To receive the currency, you must click the link in a confirmation email we sent to the address you provided. Once your email is confirmed, your Bucks will appear the next time you play. If they still do not appear, please contact us using the form below.
I accidentally deleted an animal. How do I get it back?
Unfortunately we do not have the ability to recover deleted animals or items. Sometimes, though, these have just been added to your "storage" by mistake - we recommend checking there first by tapping the "inventory" button located in your shop.
Will you be adding more expansions?
Possibly! We're constantly adding new things to the game, though expansions can require significant testing and development. The best way to be alerted about Expansion news is to follow us on Facebook.
How do I move or delete items?
'Tis easy! First, tap on the item or animal itself in your zoo. Tap the orange four-way arrow, then simply place it where you wish and tap "accept."
How do I place an item into inventory? And how do I get it back out?
You can place items in your inventory ("store" them) by tapping on the item and selecting the blue filing cabinet icon in the center. You can take items back out of inventory by going to the store, then tapping on inventory in the lower right-hand corner. Tap the item you'd like and select "place it." Once this is done, your item will be back in your Zoo!
Why can't I have more than 170 species?
Tiny Zoo currently places a maximum of 170 species per zoo on older devices. Newer devices can have more than 170 species, but on older devices such as the iPhone 3GS, allowing more than 170 can cause significant performance problems, which in turn can cause the game to crash while you're playing. Newer devices do not have this limit in place. If you currently have 170 species in your zoo, you can also move animals to your inventory - stored animals do not count towards your maximum allowed.
I completed a collection and didn't claim the reward. How can I claim it now?
After completing a collection, you will receive a prompt to place the newly achieved animal. If you bypass that option, you can still claim the animal by going to the Collection icon and then tap the Completed tab at the top right.
How do I change my avatar image?
To change your avatar, tap on the "Friends" icon at the bottom of your game. From there, tap on "Profile" and below the avatar you'll see a button that says "Update." Tap on this to change your avatar. You can scroll left and right until you find an avatar you love and represents you!
I want to share my Zoo with everyone! How do I take a photo?
To take a photo, tap on the Menu icon to get you back to the main menu. From there tap on the top button to "share" your zoo. This will take a photo of your zoo and save it to your image gallery for you to email or upload where you wish.
I want to start over; can I reset my Zoo?
Resetting is no longer a feature of Tiny Zoo Friends. With the addition of inventory, you are able to store you animals/items and start you zoo all over without deleting you progress.
Tiny Village Help

The Market is available at level 5 once you've upgraded your Magic Rock to level 2. You can find the Market in the "Resources" tab.
"Stores" in Tiny Village are the fastest way to earn coins and XP. To use them, tap them in your village to see what "recipes" they offer. You can then spend your resources by buying those items. When they're done building, you'll get money and xp in exchange. Each store also mentions which primary resource it needs. The Supply store uses your Wood, the Tool store uses your Rocks, etc.
Can I earn crystals without buying them?
Currently the best way to get free crystals is to complete the in-game achievements. Check the icons on the left of your screen for these goals - some of them give you shiny rewards!
To start growing Dinos in your village, you must first be level 10 and have a level 3 Magic Rock.
Once your Magic Rock is level 3 (a "Leader Rock"), tap the mallet to bring up your menu, tap DINOS, and purchase a DINO DEN to get going. You'll then need to buy a habitat for your dinos, such as the Placid Plain and the Volcanic Vista.
In the Dino Den, tap BREED RARE DINO to select a rare dino. Or, you can get a random dino for free. You have a chance of getting ANY dino with the random option, though some are much more rare than others.
You can move items in Tiny Village by tapping the four-way arrow on the right, then tapping the item in your village. From there, you can drag the item around your village. When the box beneath the item is green, it means it's able to be placed. You can also tap the "$" button on the right to sell the item, giving you some coins in return.
If your goal unlocks an item in the shop, you first have to restart your app before you can claim the reward. Once you come back in, though, you should find it ready and waiting in the store!
Why aren't my rocks/wood/resource going up?
First, make sure you have a "worker" assigned to your resource gatherer. Without a worker assigned, your resources won't increase. If you need more workers, try building new Houses, or renting one by taping the "Rent Worker" button.
If you still aren't gaining that resource, check to see if you have an "advanced" resource gatherer, such as the Stone Carver or Lumber Mill. When you assign Haulers to these advanced resource gatherers, the haulers will move your basic resource (rocks, wood) to the Advanced gatherer, which then turns it into the advanced resource.

Why can't I add cooked dishes on my serving table?
Make sure your serving tables are clean and unoccupied. To clean a serving table, tap on it. If there is already a dish being served on a serving table, you cannot combine other meals with it, unless they are the same type of dish.
Why won't my customers sit at the table?
You can only have one customer per chair at a table. If you are getting a "Blocked Path" notification, this often means either your customers cannot get to the table or your restaurant is more popular than before and needs more seating.
How can I pause my game to keep my food from spoiling?
While there is no "pause" feature in Tiny Chef, you can prevent spoiling best by cooking longer dishes. Food will spoil at double the time it took to cook, but never in less than an hour. The longer a dish takes to cook, the more time you have before it spoils.
What does a "Blocked Path" error mean?
Waiters and customers can't walk over chairs or tables, and they can't walk diagonally. If you're getting a "Blocked Path" error, check to make sure you have enough space around the furniture in your restaurant.
